Job Title: Customer Services Agent 

Department: Customer Services, Romanshorn 

Reporting to: Team Leader – Customer Services 

Normal Working Hours: the standard hours of work for your role are 09h00 to 17h30 Monday to Friday with a maximum of one hour for lunch, however, at certain times pressure of work may require additional hours including early mornings, late evenings and weekends. 
Weekend working will be required on a rota basis, for which you will be given a day (s) off during the week 

Main Purpose of the Job: To support all Customer Services teams, answering calls and emails from direct customers and Travel Agents. 

Main Duties: 
  • Handle all customer enquiries professionally and courteously either on the telephone or by email/online by following the agreed script and processes;
  • Identify and deliver up-sell, upgrades and revenue generating opportunities as required, working towards the department targets;
  • Process all customer requests, changes and amendments as necessary in a timely manner;
  • Process all customer documentation effectively in connection with their booking;
  • Manage and process supplier overbooking requests, ensuring that any additional costs are charged back to the supplier and the suitable alternatives are given to the customer;
  • Ensure that abandoned calls are kept within department target;
  • Support other Customer Service offices as and when required;
  • Achieve all monthly KPIs, attend regular 1-2-1s and team meetings;
  • To provide any other support that may be required by the Company.
Core Skills & Competences 
  • Excellent team player, but ability to work alone;
  • Excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills; 
  • A genuine interest in Customer service, with a desire to exceed customer expectation and be an ambassador for Lowcostbeds;
  • Fluent in English plus one other major language;
  • Good organisational and time management skills;
  • Flexibility of working hours would be preferable;
  • Good at juggling tasks and prioritising;
  • To provide any other support that may be required by the Company.
